Another dash upgrade $1.67
Pretty sure I'll be doing this ASAP. I haven't lost anything back there but one time wheeling over the summer a big-ass hornet flew back there. I just knew that at some point he'd come out the bottom of the dash, fly up my shorts, and sting the crap out of me. Well, it didn't happen, but I don't really want anymore wildlife flying back there.
Same here... I placed my antenna on the dash (after removing to install full cover). Of course I forgot the next time i backed her out of the garage... After an hour of fishing I hooked the end an retrieved the antenna..... The foam will go in tomorrow!
I am going to do this also....funny, as I was looking at the Jeep on the lot with the salesman, the kid who goes around and opens all the vehicles up tossed the only key to the Jeep right on the dashboard and whoop, there it went right down the space. Took them forever to fish the key out of the cavern.....
It was good, cause I left with it 2 hours later...

I cut it for the length of the dash and started sticking in to the gap. Seriously it only took about 10 minutes for everything. Now I don't have to worry about losing things anymore. My fear was that my friend would just toss his/her key and have to deal with taking the dash and all the pain.
Pics may be hard to see as I took them at night.
This was another easy cool mod! Thanks for the idea.

Well thats a great idea, but I never lost anything back there, I put in a daystar dash panel that has pockets for cell phone or pens and things like that. I did however go to lowes to buy weather stripping and placed on the soft top on the header in efforts to reduce wind noise and I must say...there is about 1% reduction! lol....any ideas how to fix it? or do I just keep turning up the music?
