I used some ideas from your design, it's not fully complete.. As I still need to have my buddy fab up my new aluminum air box, I just turned the battery 90 degrees and left my fuse box right where it was then drilled a hole for my other line and push it and then siliconed it, I'm trying to find a nice cap, for the outside, if anyone knows where I could find one? Other then buying one designed for a land rover

Not to sure if people care, but I used 2 45 degree elbows, and 90 degree up into the hood with 3" coming out, with another 90 degree facing the engine, I cut off center from where the battery is, it was tight, but doing this allowed me to keep my fuse box in a safe spot and get a new box made, to fit the end I'm going to use a smaller air filter inside the box where the stock 2.5" can get into and then have another piece coming out the top, so basically the box will be longer and thinner and be reversed, without having to turn my fuse box. That's the plan anyway, if not ill end up getting a smaller filter with a drop down cover so the rain, mud and ice won't freeze on it.

I know im bringing a thread back from the dead, but I've been looking for a custom snorkel and came across this thread via google.

The original writeup seems to be missing, anyone have it saved by chance?
