what branch of the military are you in? i know there are a few stations up near chicago.. which is only 2 horus from us.. and theres always jeepers coming down from up there to wheel at the badlands so you can always convoy.

I love this! Fantastic work! I didn't love the look at first with the air raid filter but once you put the top spin on I fell in love.
Out of curiousity, what would you rate the difficulty level on an install like this from 1-10? Do you think it is too much for an avid do-it-yourselfer? I installed my lift/winch/bumper and whatnot on my own and am a carpenter by trade. Never was too thrilled about anything with cutting holes in body panels but this is fantastic compared to $500 for a huge snorkel.
I do not want to undertake this project if it requires specialty skills that could cost me a $1000 if I screw up lol.

The hardest part seemed to be drilling through the firewall. it has 3 layers that apparently can get kinda sticky. If you are carpentry savy like you say you are.. id bet youd have no problem. i would just make sure you have all the parts you need before you start.
