Daystar Dash Panel Mod - Complete Write-Up
You would think DC would start to add some of these inexpensive Mods to future Jeeps!!

This was the best write up! I found everything like you said at home depot (no Lowes in Montreal)
But the strange thing was.... when i took off my factory OEM dash panel.... Nothing was screwed to it.... I attached a pic of what was under there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the factory navigation 730N unit, and the sirius radio and everything works perfectly.. I own a 2010
I also noticed that there was a small black bubble that looks like the Sirius radio antenna but thats screwed down to the top of the nav unit, and then there was a wire with a plug but nothing attached at the end, and it was taped down...What is supposed to go there?
Any help would be great!

Glad I could help!!!
The "bubble" you speak of is the Sirius antenna... Not sure about vehicles with factory nav, but the "thing" that was supposed to be under there was the compass that shows up on the dash where the air temp shows up.
Maybe with Nav it uses GPS instead.
Hopefully someone else can chime in about Jeeps with factory nav.
