But if you're under water, the wires look the same.

Other than the two screws at the back, can you please give me quick instructions on how to get the front of the console out? I'm going to do the seat heater switches while I am in there (right in the little corners in front of the cup holders). Also is there constant 12v running through this wire, hence the light being always on? I want to put mine above the cupholders to attempt to illuminate them with the led. Killing two birds with one stone, that's how I roll. Thanks.

And btw, the ground on the OPs switch is for the light to illuminate. The switch is literally just breaking the circuit of the purple wire. If your switch has no light, you'll only use the two wires inline of the purple wire.

I believe it is just the two back screws (going from memory). I probably would have stated something about more screws if there were any. I think there are just some clips up front, but not completely sure.

No, there is not constant power in the wire I don't think. The light is only on when the Jeep is running or the key is on.

So if I understand correctly. I can spin the tires as much as I want up to 40mph tire speed by just clicking the traction control button off. Only if I want zero computer driving corrections, is what this mod is for?

Yeah pretty much. Not sure about the 40MPH thing but it will surely let you spin the tires. But, once the Jeep starts going sideways the brakes will start locking up to straighten the vehicle out.

If you were on ice, you could probably spin them to the rev limit. But once the jeep thinks you are fishtailing (or you are), it will start to selectively apply the brakes to try and straighten the vehicle out. I believe the traction control may have something to do with this as well, so it might retard wheel spin too. Once you do this mod, all computer aid is turned off when you want it to be, and you can spin and fishtail and do donuts to your hearts delight.

This is a sweet mod! Never even thought of it. I recently busted a front left axle shaft. While trying to remove the shaft so i could get to work the next day i busted the ABS wheel sensor like the nub i am. LOL On the bright side, ive enjoyed no ABS or ESP on the slippery roads of northern MN. I find that accelerating without stupid ESP and braking with no ABS is just my style! Its also much easier to to exercise my sideways lifestyle while in traffic with no esp. Turn the wheel to the shoulder and stomp the gas lol.

ANYWAYS.....

I was wandering if it was possible to disable ABS on a switch as well. I love not having that goofy braking assist.

Cheers bros,

Heres to an awesome mod!!
