You'd have to fab something up. They don't make the adapter plate like they used to.

I used my old one, sort of fabbed it. Haven't had any problems.
Not sure why your tailgate won't open all the way, mine does just fine.

i do have a question now.. i have a little bit of a rattle coming from the carrier on the hinge side. the guy that put it on said he put the required amount of torque on there but i was wanting to check the hinge bolts as well as the bolts on the tailgate mounts... what are the torque specs?

any suggestions as to what might be causing the rattle?

thanks

I didnt torque mine, I just tightened it until it was tight I do remember having to keep tightening the bolts that hold the swingaway part until they started to squeeze the bracket so it would hold the spacers tightly enough so the carrier didnt rattle.

Anybody running this with 37s. The weight difference is negligible, just wondering if there are any clearance issues?

I have a 37" tire on it. No rattles and no obvious problems, though I am a little bit leary about putting two full fuel cans on it and probably never will. The tire carrier keeps the spare well away from the vehicle, so there are no clearance issues.
