Just Got mine installed. I'd like to thank DBB888 for sending me the extra materials he had (plastic mesh and zip tie block). Was pretty simple but those clips that hold the top of the grill in can be a pain in the neck , they dont come up when i try to unscrew them, i had to pry up the screw head to get s grip . I had that problem when i changed my headlight bulbs too but i got around that. Overall this was an easy mod and looks cool.. Thanks Guys

Hey someone a while ago posted an awesome trick for those plastic screw things all over the jeep (grill and airdam).

Use a wood screw and screw it in a tad into the center of the plastic screw's head and just pull it up by the wood screw! works perfect! the first time around it may take a some presure to get the wood screw started, but after the first hole is in, you can re-use the same wood screw each time by hand, when you have to take them out again....

Hope that helps! and this is an awesome cheep mod!! Thanks for the ideas and the info of where/what to buy everything.

Ok, you guys got me wanting to this too, so I was at Lowe's tonight anyway, so I got everything needed and used the gutter guard stuff and here is mine...

bare empty grill My Jeep likes mud

inside after the gutter stuff installed...

from the outside...

that was a fun mod... now, with the gutter guard stuff being so flimsy, I'm wondering what will happen when you hit a big bug??

I hit some monster dragonflies, and all that was left of them was shredded debris. Besides, it is cheap enough, if it rips, you can just put the zip tie through another hole or put in another panel.
