Debating doing this
I do.. Did it a few years ago. Looks great. Low key. I have a Sahara, but I think it would look even better if my fenders weren't painted body color. I've toyed with spraying the fenders to match the grill but I've decided to get a Mango instead...

I'll try to get some grab shots for you.

This is going to be my next mod. Has anyone bedlined the very front part of the hood? The strip that curves down towards the grill. I ask because I have 4 pretty big rock chips there and would like to bedline the grill and that strip to prevent/cover up rock chips. Pics would be greatly appreciated.

Default Excellent

I found your post by accident while searching for hinge solutions. Your attention to detail and clear explanation inspired me to add the mesh to my grill. It worked excellent and looks awesome.

I picked up the stuff to do this today. I was wondering, I have a can of primer laying around...can I prime then paint or should I just sand then paint?'

EDIT: Eh, Sanded, 2 coats of primer. Just waiting for it to dry and then sand and I'll cover with the bedliner. I got so excited to do it I haven't done the grill insterts yet. I figure I'll do one of two coats tonight and finish in the afternoon tomorrow.
