Not my cup of tea, but I like the work put into it.
+1 on using a flat head screwdriver to remove the push pins on the plastic inserts.
To each their own.

That is awesome, if my jeep wasn't all black I'd be doing this mod for sure, the grill matches your fenders awesomely. Makes the grill almost look like carbon fiber.

My jeeps all black I'm still doing it...it still changes the look of the grill a bit... I like the finished black on black look.... and protects the rad too.

Thanks for the write up, I just did this yesterday. It suprises me that the factory left those big openings, giving the condensor/radiator no protection, and offers no kit similar to this mod. Anyways, I used the same stuff, bought at Lowe's, but used hot glue (44 sticks) to affix them. It was alot cheaper than epoxy. I used self etching primer and flat black paint, but I have a feeling it isn't going to look very good in a few weeks. It seemed to scratch off easily, so??? Anyways, thanks for the idea, not a bad $15 mod.

I did the duplicolor bed liner to the front grill and was going to do the same thing with the grates but it didn't seem like it was going to be very sturdy so I'm going to explore some other options with the grates

Anyone with a black jeep have pics of their grill bedlinered black?

Debating doing this.

Little side note, this is a better tape to use on the letters. It is thinner and stronger adhesion for exterior use.

Make sure to clean the surfaces with alcohol prior to applying it or it wont stick properly.
