Hard Top removal - ALONE!

So pulling out the top from the back works but the guide pins make it very tight. Can I remove them so I can just put some carpet under it and slide it out the back.

Built one this weekend. Takes less time now to remove and replace the hard top than it did my Trektop nx old my old Jeep.

I just get in the back lift it up and walk off like a turtle.

I drew up some quick plans based on your original design(again, Thanks), and made some mods… Harbor Freight is having their parking lotsale so I picked up some 3” casters for this rig. My design has an integrateddoor storage but I think I will build a separate caddie for them. I plan onrolling them under the hard top when complete… will post pics when I do…

Nice! I'm looking to find a hard top for my Jeep. I was wondering how I'd get it off by myself, this gives me some ideas.
