I peeled the Sport and Wrangler stickers of mine the same day I got it (last Friday), the Sport did not leave any residue but the Wrangler did.

I started with goo off but it started to take way too much time and rubbing.

A spray of silicone lubricant, wait a few seconds and it came out perfect and extremely quick!

Don't waste your time with the Goo Off, go straight to silicone lubricant.

Citrus juice works well for the glue .. mix it with a bit of water and spray on ... has worked like a charm for me on other things with glue backs, just try not to let it run everywhere as it will clean what ever it is on ... and dont let it sit to long on the painted surface .. put iton and take it right off ... as with most cleaners it will etch if left to long ... Other wise just use a mild soap and water with some elbow grease.

Ive also heard that WD40 works wonders as well have never tried it but hey life is full of suprises and you have to try everythong at least once.

Took mine off today got rid of the X and wrangler stickers, good and hot here in Phoenix used my nails and peeled them off. Used wd40 to remove the glue then washed the area with soap and water and dried it off completely.

Added my new stickers.......................4 Wheel Drive and Jeep stickers

When removing the "Islander" stickers I let the stickers sit in the sun. Using a heat gun, peeled them back which left the glue etc. Goof Off and elbow power to get that off and finished with a quick buff. Pain in the rear.....

I used to drive an 04 TJ "X" left the "scarlet" letter on it.
I actually think its cool to see a rig with $6k in lift, wheels, tires etc and see an "X" on it.

Face it, non Jeep owners have no idea what X, Rubicon, Sahara or Levis means on the side of your Jeep. Only Jeep owners truly appreciate the time/cash you spend building a rig.

(bonus points if you remember what "Levis" meant to your rig)

i just used alcohol on the remaining glue....
i wasn't that sure, but a friend told me he had used it before... i will remove the ISLANDER decals off the hood.
I just removed one tiki bob to test maybe 3 weeks ago and the paint is still fine... so i think i'll remove the complete decals tomorrow.... unless someone advices me on time not to with alcohol

Goof off worked the best. Not goo gone. Use some heat too!

Let it set sunny side on a hot day and they peel right off. Goo gone or bug and tar will clean up the residue if any is left over.
