Yes, 7/16 will go through the bracket and end link without drilling anything, however it will be sloppy loose in the holes. I used a half inch pin, drilled the end links and it works good. It's still loose in the axle bracket but not near as bad and I don't hear any noise from it. I can take and post pics if anyone wants to see them.
Ok here it is, take the second hole to the end of the pin and drill it out with i think was a 1/4 in bit if I remember and see if that will work. I got confused with all of the hooplah in this thread. I did drill out the cotter hole to make cotter fit. Sorry for the mix up.

The second hole to the end of pin needs to be drilled to the next size and if I remember its a 1/4 in drill bit

I used a 3/16 bit but 1/4 would work as well. I just wanted to minimize material hog out

If I drill the sway bar end to 1/2 inch do the bushings have to be removed? I haven't even taken my rear sways off yet ever, but I'm going to move them to the front and do this mod...

Only pic i've got. More convenient than zip ties in my opinion I actually attach both ends of the strap up top vertically, but either way will work. Works well for me. Hope this helps

1/2"x2.5" or 1/2"x3" clevis bolts. Also get 4-6 1/2" washers and 2 clevis pins. Bought all mine from Lowes last week for $8
