Then I drilled out the hole in the pin a little bigger so that the locking pin would fit. This is what it looked like after I installed it.

It only took me about 30 minutes, well worth it. Now lets see how it works.

Not bad at all. Now it's time to test it in the field, lol. Good luck guys and let me know if and how long this mod works for you. ENJOY and tread lightly.
I was shopping for rear disconnects this week and couldn't find anything. I pondered this very thought on my flight home. Thank you for the write up, and sharing! You have me going there now!!!

These will work on stock ride hight only ! The ones you buy r longer . If you lift your jeep and use the stock swaybar links. You will flip your swaybar and smash stuff! Ask me how I know!!!

Ok so I bought my jeep with the lift on it and the links look stock. So this won't work? If I take a pic of the links can you tell me if they are stock?

If they don't have length adjustment in them they are stock. They will work on the road but when you go four wheeling if you go over anything big and flex out you might flip your swaybar once it's been flipped once it will just keep flipping

Right. I've had quick disconnects before on my stock TJ. So that's why I wanted to buy them for my current one, until I saw this thread. I thought you were saying that using these pins on the stock would cause a prob

Ok... the 1/2" were just a tad too big. So I headed back out and lets see what the 7/16 will do. It was that or drill the link holes out to fit. And that just didn't seem good to try. Lol
Will update here in about an hour.
