Awesome, I can't go two weeks without wanting to do something else to my jeep...
Does this have the option of getting the stock rubicon switches? That go in the 2011?

How can the OEM switches not be compatible with the heated seats? Isnt it jut wires with power going through them? I am having leather Katzkins put in my wrangler along with heated seats, I asked him if i got the OEM switches if he could hook them up that way so it looks stock, he said yes. I am now in the process of looking for OEM seat heater switches, I wonder what the difference is.

The Heated Seats on OEM Jeeps (such as the 2011 JK) are controlled by a data bus communication network. This is similar to the CAN-Bus, but it is a smaller network that includes the heated seats (>2011 JK), ESP on/off, front and rear lockers, sway bar, inverter (2011 JK) and hill decent control (>2011 JK. This network is called the LIN-Bus and is completely controlled by the instrument cluster, the cluster communicates with any or all of these features and dictates what is supposed to happen.

This is entirely computer controlled and involved Chrysler programming to enable the communication to be established. For example, adding the electronic sway bar to a X/Sport/Sahara is possible but you need the programming to tell the cluster to aknowlage the signal from the sway bar button.

The OEM wwitch pod is nothing more than a electric board and the buttons are closer to a calculator in terms of operation. When you press the button, the signal is sent to the cluster, the cluster relays the signal to the "Heated Seat Module" and then power is directed to the seat itself.
This type of system is used to significantly reduce the amount of wiring required.

Please keep in mind, Chryler will not allow any programming of features that were not an original option.

The only real way may be to physically build it into the switch pod...

Holy crap...did that take me along time! The damn seats were the worst part, trying to get them back together was hell. The 1st seat took me a good 90 minutes, the 2nd seat, 20 minutes, lol. The console was a chore but I was also installing my ABS/ESP kill switch and ran into a snag there. Then putting it back together....lots of fiddling around. Got it all to work though!

There is def a trick to putting the seats back together and I learned it the hard way also. But luckily to take the seats in and out I had a compressor and impact wrench. Or there would have been even more cursing. But hey they work and thats all that matters.

And if you have the flat touch pad buttons that some with your kit. I would highly advise replacing them. The touch pad buttons are NOT waterproof. (Or Armor-All Proof either) I was wiping down my dash and just a tiny bit of Armor-All got inside the switch and that switch never worked again.

I called CheckCorp (they are the heated seat contractor for Chrysler) and they sold me the Heavy Duty switches and the harness that plugs them right into the module. I ave never has a issue with them since.
I'm having problems with this company
I've called them and emailed them, contacted 3 different people and they have all been pretty clueless
They keep on trying to sell me one of their full kits

Got to wait till Monday for the tech guy to get back from vacation

Anyone order the round rocker switches and compatible harness have a part number or something?

I installed with the seats in the jeep. Today i found out I reversed my heated seat plugs under the console. So now I have to press the right side switch to heat my drivers seat, lol.

I don't remember seeing anyone post prices for the round rocker switches

The girl I talked to yesterday called me back, does 84 bucks sound right for the switches and harness shipped?
