Great mod! And on the cheap too! Im thinking blue led's for my white jeep would look good?

Anyone have the light above the shifter? AND mood lights for the floor?

Default Thanks to this thread to telling me which wires to tap into...

I have been wanting to tie this into the Wranglers electrical system for 2 years. I FINALLY took the time to snip off the battery pack I made for it and wire it up so that it was bright and dimable.

Thanks,
Paul

I did this tonight, with two strips of LEDS, but when I turn on the lights nothing happens. Tapped red wires into orange with gray wire and ground into power outlet black with white. Not sure whats wrong.

Quite easy and I used butt connectors which was the only thing I had on hand, so it was good enough. Thanks for the write up!

Where did you ground? See the wire bundle, and orange and grey wire, but where is your ground at, or did you ground to the vehicle?

Lightbulb Thanks KMB-JK

Thanks for the write up and locating the power wire that allows for dimming. I did a single red led shining towards stick and cup holders from under the console box. Plan to add two more for the rear cup holders later in the week. Sorry for no photos, I have had no luck posting them to a hosting sight.
