Plasti Dip testing
If powdercoating is done correctly it will not chip. It is baked on and fuses to the wheel. You cant remove it even if u want to. Plasti dip will 100 percent chip and peel off, it is designed to that.

Plasti dip is great for emblems and badges, but for wheels, it is not durable, you can literally scratch it off with ur fingernail. For me it looked ok, but once it starts to peel off or chip it looks like shit. Plus im not the kind of person who likes to keep fixing something cheap everytime it fails or looks crappy, do it right the first time and forget about it. I would rather spend the money on powdercoating because it is the most durable coating you can get for wheels and why skimp on your $30,000+ rig? I tried it and it sucks for wheels , better off painting or truckbed lining ur wheels.
