Im really glad I found this thread. The previous owner of my JK had a thing for chrome and I need to plastidip a few things. Has anyone tried using this stuff on mufflers yet? Or do you think that they would get to hot for plastidip?

Here's a tip, just tape a rectangular spot around the key hole and paint it, wait a few min til it's dry then take a toothpick to gently scrape the excess plasti-dip that's on the paint off around the key hole. Or tape it as close as u can around keyhole and pull the tape off while the paint is still wet

Your welcome, that's the great thing about plasti-dip u can have a lot of over spray and it comes off so easy. I'm getting ready to plasti-dip my drift car for the track lol
