Default 6 dollar dash upgrade - cluster done

Finally got it all put back together. My Rubicon is black in color so I figured i'd black out the cluster (stock silver).

Took a few pics.

Hey, is this a Jeep forum or Pimp-My-Ride? No they really they look great!



But it did make me think of a Pimpmobile" with all the color inside.

I saw someone take the entire center piece out that goes under the radio where the vents are. They covered it with carbon fiber vinyl. how do you take that whole piece out like that??? im stumped.... anyone know?

btw, I will be doing all the vent painting and such asap.

I had to take that piece out when I replaced my stereo, I believe you just start at the bottom and work your way up. There are clips that hold it in there...do a forum search for stereo installs and I think you will find a write up.

one more question...has anyone attempted to paint or remove the "jeep" that is in the center of the steering wheel??

Removed the Gray dash accents and center console and painted black



The second and third pics are me changing th color of the shifter position lights

Will get finished results up shortly
