I'm guessing yours was not a 2011 or 2012 model? Can't move the damn thing in those models!

I used a Kenwood KSC-SW01, small aluminium "box" that sits under the seat with all "bits" in the box, I ran the control up into the glove box to adjust the level, but can also adjust it from the head unit. Not that expensive, just search Google and I am sure you will find lots of options.

2007 :-) its nice to have the tail gate "stay", but not worth the loss of space for my use. I have the Woods stay and lots of extra space :-)

Would love a 2011 or 2012, as the yearly tax would be less, but not much chance of that at the moment or of doing the following.

Great job, I like this idea a lot, I had a similar idea about building a false floor but I didn't want to do it because with the seats folded down it would be obvious there was a false floor. But with the extensions covering the rear seat this is a perfect design . How thick are the metal studs that you used. I looked at Home Depot last night and I found the metal studs, but they all seemed very flimsy and too thin. Were yours like this as well but then when you assembled everything did they get solid? Thanks for the idea!!

The metal channels I used measure 0.0235" thick. (That's the steel channel. I haven't measured the studs.)
They come in a couple different thicknesses. I don't recall if mine are the thicker ones or not.
The frame is much stiffer after it's all assembled.

They make/sell different gauge metal studs. Check with a sheetrock yard/supplier as they often stock them
