Works out though because I payed $40 for a $1200 winch, gotta love friends that drink too much, "just get me a couple of handles of cheap vodka", I think I still owe him one more?

If you're ever over in Napa we should do some newb wheeling together
Your welcome, I think you could probly get away with mounting it there if you protected it with a skid plate? IDK just a thought.

I just mounted my Xrc10 to factory bumper and it was no easy task. The smity winch plate I used was a bit of On its dimensions, but with a bit if cutting and shaving it's complete....

You have a pic of that plate? Going to do this to mine, but want to make sure I get the right plate.

What cheap plate would someone recommend, being that the HF one is no longer available? Want to do this to mine in July; want to make sure I dont waste time with the wrong plate.

this has been discussed over and over.

I would say Smitybilt, but it looks like they also discontinued that winch plate. Now MileMarker is selling their generic plate again on 4wheelparts.

I've pmed you the plate I used from Smittybilt. Worked perfectly fine upside down or right side up. Just had to drill a hole on one side of the chassis.
