HaS someone done this with the winch right side up? What winch plate did u use if so?

I've got one in the works. I'm making it out of 1/4" steel and mounting it to the underneath of the frame rails so it sits in between as opposed to on top.

I was thinkin of making one that sits between the frame rails. Bolting and or welding a puce of steel between then recessing the winch in the bumper.

Ditto! I'll be bolting mine to the frame with some 1/2" Grade 8 bolts.

Picked up a mounting plate from a guy here. The plate is cut up to do the upside down mount. It just needs some finishing.
Now how do I get a winch and mount it up without the wife knowing. LOL
