Run should take us about 2 to 3 hrs, one way. It's 20+ miles of beach, who really knows...
One question on tools, since I haven't had to wrench anything yet. Are these put together with metric or standard hardware? Or is it a combo? I would hate being out there with a bag full of standards needing metric.
Both, & channel locks, a crescent wrench... Duct tape, electrical tape, a pry bar, a small block of wood.
If you've lifted your Jeep will your factory jack pick it up? How about in the sand? The block of wood can be very useful.

Installing this Teraflex lift kit Saturday will probably take most of the day I am sure...
Plus I SUCK at most mechanical stuff.
Nope, doing by myself. OEM removal was easy, about 30 minutes. Then tried installing winch before mounting bumper but couldn't line up so aborted that idea, then mounting, removing, adding spacers ( originally sat too close for taste) then remounting, lining up bolts, shuffling around a bit, adding washers and nuts, tightening and torquing. Lots up and down in 95+ heat.

I didn't dare install the winch before I installed the bumper....too much weight. I just installed mine after the bumper was secured.
I just got my lift kit and trackbar from Northridge4x4 a few minutes ago, and I am very tempted to start installing it now, but I am going to stick to my plan and install it on Saturday. Me an my son are going to make a washer board kit tonight and I am going to get some yard work done tomorrow.
Doesn't it unscrew from the handle?
I am still working on my lift. Down to torquing the control arms and straightening up the steering. I have been at this since 8am....but the light is at the end of the tunnel finally.
