Check to make sure you haven't lost your wheel weights by any chance. Happens quite often when you go through thick mud or snow. Losing wheel weights will cause the tire/wheel to go out of balance and cause mild to severe shakes. The other obvious area is the track-bar - check to make sure your bolts are torqued down to 125 ft. lbs and like Duane said - make sure the hole isn't wallowed out.

I've been driving around for a large portion of the day topless and DOORLESS for the first time..

I called the mcalester police department and asked them about mirrors, and the officer told me "as far as I know, all you are required to have is your rear view mirror" .. and apparently he is correct cause I drove by many cops today and they all just smiled and waved.

about to go back out for some more doorless driving

edit: I plan on getting brackets sooner or later that'll utilize the stock mirrors so I can have them on when doorless- I kinda want em on there lol, kept looking over where the mirror should be and just saw pavement.. kind of an awkward feeling.

Back from Screamin' Lizrard and my Jeep runs great! I hit a couple terrible pot holes at speed and though the entire Jeep rumbled as I passed by them, there wasn't a hint of DW. And, the constant rumble that I had at 60-65 MPH is now gone--undoubtedly due to the new tires. And I purposefully hit a very sharp on ramp at high speed and not a hint of ESP light. I'm very please with the work SLC did. Too bad something went astray with Manoj's. No pic's--Jeff will get them to me and we'll get them posted up, but there's not much visual difference except I now have the 35" Duratracs and the FC IIs are gone (except my spare, which is in the shop here in MWC and should be on in the next couple days). Other mod's include lockers on both axles, chromolly shafts up front, 4.88 gears replaced 4.10s (Anyone want some 4.10s for an X/Sahara? Price is right, but I want them to go local), and skids on the front LCAs and rear shocks. I did talk to Sean about the problems with Manoj's skids when we were working on his Jeep last Sunday, so he ensured that all of the ears/mounts were in good shape before welding the skids in place. Gee, Manoj, I hate to say this, but I think I'm benefiting from following all of the prototyping on your Jeep!

Okay, I know this is a day or two late, but I just wanted to point out that I finally figured out what a snatch strap is for.

Just trying to assembly my axle shaft for tomorrow...

any body have any clue how to assembly u-joints? I've looked around, and the write-ups i've seen on the general internet look like the assembly process is slightly different.

Mine have the "full c" clips, and I just want to make sure I understand how their assembly before I F someting up.

Toughts?

Awesome! Good to hear about the no DW... mine went the opposite direction - there was no DW when I drove down there, there is one now

Not the first time, but most certainly the last .

Well, there's always a silver lining Mark . Glad things worked on yours.
