Understood . Well, I might go the route of flat fenders someday down the line, but it'll be a long way down the line .

you should grease the stocker too, everything needs oiled and greased that moves. maintenance is a big factor on longevity and life of parts

Technically, no - because the stock DS is not serviceable - it has no zerk fittings to grease it, and being a CV style, it has no U-Joints to maintain and grease. Like WOL mentioned, the only thing that keeps it together is the CV boot and once that goes, the life of the stock DS goes downhill from there. There's a reason Mopar is starting to offer "Performance Upgrades" by way of 1310 Driveshafts

I know, weird huh? I'll nit pick over big things (like my axles), but have no problem paying for flat flares that I could have done myself and gotten something that looks 90% the same.

I do like the way the DIY flat fenders look, but, I don't know, I am just REALLY drawn to the bushwacker flat flares... they are, oddly enough, probably the only after market or DIY flares that I actually like...

I think it's just a personal taste thing.

Thats what I thought... but at the same time, I don't know if I ever thought the any of them needed servicing.

Hopefully my stock one lasts a good long while.

I agree with you 100% on that; I do like the way they look - just not willing to pay what they want for them. When the time comes though, I might just pull the stock fenders off and have our body shop redo the section where the fenders go to make it flat and run fender less from there out

Talking of which, if any of you need a stock front DS, I still have one that I got from odin725 about a year back thinking I'd use that if my stock DS went out. Since I've already upgraded to the 1310s up front, I won't be needing it - you guys are welcome to it if the need arises .

Well, on the servicing thing, it's the same thing with control arms - stock control arms don't have a way to grease them - adj. control arms do, and it should be greased regularly. Same thing with aftermarket DS. Alongwith power and capability comes responsibility

hehehee wanna know a secret ? i use a needle to grease the non-grease zirk items. Like when i replaced my pitman arm with the drop one, i had to get grease in there after i pre-greased it before installation. just a little trick just a way to get grease into places if need be

Where and how would you grease the stocker though? Unless you mean shooting grease in the slip yoke by poking a hole in the CV boot?
