Exclamation OKC/Tulsa: Clayton/Frielings Oct 17

Hey guys, I'm considering meeting up with a few folks from the Oklahoma Jeep Thing club this weekend. I think they are wheeling most the day and maybe night too Saturday. I've never been to Clayton so I was really wanting to check it out with someone who had been there.

Anyone interested in going? I'll be primitive camping if I go. I'm about 75% going at this point - let me know if you want to join and that will probably bump up to 100%.

I don't have season tickets this year...so no. Sirius/FM will do just fine.

I think I might drive down Saturday and then possibly drive back that night. Sounds like this will be an easy/medium difficulty run.

Where is clayton? What kind of drive am I looking at? Seems like a good opportunity for this newbie to learn something!

Let me see if I can swap days off for Saturday; if so, I might join.

Clayton is down in SE OK - I hear its about 3 hours from OKC, probably about 1.5 hours east and 1.5 south. I've never been there myself, but the guys that I'm planning on joining are from OK JeepThing. They go there a lot, but the people who are going on this trip it sounds like will just be doing easy stuff. Although there are opportunities for hard stuff from the sounds of it.
