No problem with power
I traded in my 2009 and ordered a 2012 rubicon auto with 4:10s. Running RK 2.5 max travel 17x9 addict 4.5" backspacing with 37/12.50/17 cooper stt.
If i lined up my stock 09 auto with 3:73s against my 12 with 37s the 12 would walk all over it. The only problem is the tranny it seems like it does not know when to shift but i only drove it stock for about 500 miles then the 37s went on. I can't wait till they break the codes and come out with a tunner to mess with the tranny and some other things. Power wise no problem though.
If i lined up my stock 09 auto with 3:73s against my 12 with 37s the 12 would walk all over it. I have a 12 auto with 4.10s, just put a set of 315-70-17s on it this week. The jeep has plenty of power, even on the freeway at 70 mph. I don't think you would regret the auto at all, plus the 6 speed has a higher overdrive ratio than previous years, I'm sure it has enough power but something else to think about.

I have had my '12 for a few weeks now, I was looking for a white or silver manual. I saw this online but it was DOZER. It had the 3.73 that I wanted, it was a hard top, had limited slip. Really it was everything I wanted except the color. I bought it, and I love it, but you at least have to like the color first. If you hate it now, you will always hate it. I liked it, and loved the jeep, now I love both. No one can make that kind of decision for you.
