Nice setup though Sir. Will be putting together a D60 and 14bolt next year as funds allow myself.
Ade, I did 5:38s last week along with synergy ball joints. Going with the synergy sleeve kit, braces and LCA skids.

If I go 37s, will probably add a TB brace, and steering brace of some sort. That should be enough for me. I used to beat the shit out of all my unibody jeeps. I'm more of a overlander/mall crawler guy now.

Looks like you got it covered with what can be done to the stock axles. You may also want to look at the EVO sleeves as they also have seals (felt with oil) on the outside to stop too much crap travelling down the axle shaft, but the plug weld sleeves like Synergy and EVO are the way to go in my opinion, I've seen people have a hell of a time slide hammering the press kit ones in.

Would be great to see some pictures when it's al done.

That's good to know. I'll check out the EVO as well, since synergy doesn't give a bundle discount. The weld in sleeves are better than the hammer in, IMO. That's probably all I'll do. I'm not going to go alloys for fear of making the R&P the weak link. I'd rather be stuck swapping a shaft than breaking a ring gear.

I'll get pics posted up either way. I don't mind dropping the extra funds to make the 37s fit. I just don't want it to drive like shit, when the 35s are so popular on the JKUs. The older I get, the less I'm willing to put up with as far as drivability.

I hear what you are saying. The more you change the more you are pushing the weak link up the chain. There was a guy on Fordyce this weekend who had taken out his transfer case input shaft and had spent the night waiting for this friends to bring another one in.

I do like the look of a JKU on 37s they seem to be the most popular here on the West Coast.

A little update.

Got my lift installed this weekend. 2.5" Teraflex coil/shock kit with .75" spacers.

I had previously measured from the top of the tire to the bottom of the flare:

Front: 4.75" clearance (stock JKUR springs/1.75" BB)
Rear: 6.5" clearance

After lift

Front: 7.25" clearance
Rear: 7.75" clearance

So I netted about 2.50" front/1.25" rear. The lift was used for about 10k miles, so I don't think I have to worry about settling anymore?

Not sure if 37s are going to work.

The 37's will be fine, you'll just have to get flat fenders and try a 1" lift above each shock
