I am soo glad I went with 35's

I have the tf 2.5" bb. It is a perfect fit for my bfg km2 35x12.50x17. No rubbing at all. Rims are 17x9 with 4.6 bs approx.

 

I went with 33x12.5x15.
I know I'm the minority on this here's why, I'll never need the additional tire height for the kind of wheeling I do. mpg. I will never regear. I drive a lot of highway and to me 33's look more balanced on a 2-door (35's look perfect to me on a 4-door).

 

I run 33's and can still keep up with a lot of guys that are wheeling bigger tires. You'd be surprised how far a good spotter can take you rather than just relying bigger tires alone. I could't justify spending the money to do 35's properly right out of the gate. Need to figure an extra $2k+ between re-gearing and and an aftermarket bumper and tire carrier, and thats still before the cost of the tires and wheels (cheaper if you want to stay with spacers). Since I got my 33's and BB I've been chipping away at other things. Diff covers, bumpers, skids, lights, winch, lockers, snorkel, all things that add up real quick, but everyone's priorities and budgets are different. Good luck!

Edit: meant to add in that 35's definitely do look way more aggressive and I have a feeling I will step up to those once my 33's wear out, but by that time I'm hoping to have taken care of most of the other mods and upgrades I mentioned above. But in the meantime I'm still having fun with my 33's!

 

Makes you wish there where more than 2 tires available in a true 34" even though most 35"s actually measure around 34.5".

I have 33" AT's and wish they were bigger when tackling boulders but also wish I didn't have to regear for $1,000.
