I will get 33s when the stock 32s wear out. If I was to go to 35 or bigger with more mods then I would have to do harder trails which would make it more likely I would break something. I found that after I modified my TJ easy trials were boring and had to take harder trials. Keeping it closer to stock will make me have to drive better on easier trails and lower the risk factor.

For the majority of JK owners, 33s are more than adequate... A skilled driver can accomplish more with 33s than a duffer running 35s. Consider how much you have to spend to run 35s and the increased stress on the drive train.

For those who need the look of 35s, get 33s and spend the savings on a year's worth of ExtenZe, to help with that feeling of inadequacy...

this is incorrect.

you dont need a big lift, you dont need to regear, and you can get away with no tire carrier.

why not 37's? because regearing becomes a must, and dana 30 will explode sooner or later.

I bet if it wasnt for front axle strength a lot of non- rubi's would be rolling 37's

I myself think the 4 door looks great with 33's. I also like them with 35's but its your choice....I also love them with 37's. I went with the 33's and 2 1/2 Teraflex coil kit and I really like it. I drive mine daily, live in the Kentucky/Cincy area - dont have any mountains - and drive the expressway ALOT!! I have the automatic with 4.10 gears and didnt notice any power loss with my setup. I get tons of compliments on my rig.

2 door & 33's make a proportionate mean looking ride

4 door & 33's doesn't look much different than stock in my opinion.

I read these polls and people tell you what to do without knowing anything about you. Go no bigger than you need or if you are in to the look of 35’s then do it. There are a lot of reasons to go with 33’s and not 35’s. 35’s cost more and the extra unsprang weight does not help things. I have 35’s because I go rock crawling on weekends.
