37 inch tires
I have an 08 unlimited with the Auto trans and 37s. I drive it everyday. I just re geared it to 5.13s last weak. I love it now, I can't believe the difference. before it was a dog. I hated doing mountain passes. I tried the CAI and the Programmer, but did not help nearly as much as the gears.
Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I'm battling with the 35 vs 37 thing right now too, and those measly 2 inches define almost an entire shopping list of parts for the JK.
Is there anyone out there who got 37's and thought "Fuck, if I went with 35's, I would have spent like $3000 less. I could have put that money toward XYZ, which would have been a lot more useful."
Either way I go I'm going to regret something. I just want to make sure that I end up deciding on the lesser of two evils: spending more, or wanting more.

I went from 35 to 37s back in November and haven't regretted it. I notice that the ride was only a little rougher at very slow speeds. I could feel the mud terrain tires tread. At speeds of 65 miles an hour I felt like I was going to be blown off the road but that was only for the first month. I think that the tires all worn in evenly because I don't have that issue anymore. However it still doesn't feel as safe drive 75 as it would on 35s. I also have a four inch lift now and that might also changed the ride.
