Thankfully I haven't been in any accidents, so I can't comment on its crash safety. These seats have been around for over a decade though, and I did some Internet research and found nothing but good reviews on them before I bought one. It seems sturdy and my kid's head is still under and within the confines of the roll bar.

after a lot of looking around and calling places trying to find a seat i did find one form a 2011 black on black and he wanted me to make an offer so final price is $150 . i emailed him back to see if this comes with the seat belts because i forgot to ask when i called him.
so after a lot of thought and really looking into it i think i have decided not to do this. for the simple reason its going to cost a lot more then taking 2 cars ! The reason why i looked into this is friends of ours are coming up in September and we are going away for the weekend and she did not like the fact that we would have to take 2 cars , paying for gas , parking ect all for 2 plus not being able to bond and catch up in different cars . She got me to look into it and MY common sense has said NO less money in the end to take 2 vs buy seats buy brackets install time and its not like they are kids going to sit in the back they are adults !

But if anyone is looking for a seat i can sell it to you ! at least in the area ~ not sure how shipping would be? i will be taking a trip or 2 all over Ontario in the next few weeks and can deliver , as far as Ottawa to London just let me now thru PM or here i am not sure how often i will check this thread but i am on here a few times a day checking in !

Has anyone installed this on a 2012? The plastic pieces on the side appear like they might interfere with where the brackets go.

What harness are you using with your 3rd row seat?

I went a different way I used the rear seat for a TJ from smittybuilt, some off brand rear seat belts for a TJ, and a tuffy rear security cover.
