I've abandoned my plans to buy a house and decided to live in my parents basement forever. My mom does my laundry, helps with my kids, I have 1800 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, livingroom, bathroom all to my self. sooooooo.... the 40K i was saving for a house can now go into my jeep. If I wanted to do a hemi, long arm lift, 40s, axles and whatever else goes with all that, will 40K finish the job?

LOL, half joking. I do live with my parents, I recently found out my wife was having an affair with her boss and I moved out with my 2 kids and left her with the house. I am looking to buy a house but I'm not having much luck and this 40K is burning a hole in my pocket.

 

seems like the heavy hitters are going to be the hemi and the axles. What do hemi conversions run these days and I have no clue what axles run or where to get them.

 

I'd be more worried about getting a house for my kids than my Jeep. Just my though.
40k will build you a very nice Jeep though.

 

Okay I refuse to believe this as a real post so i will just say, "at 40K, youll be able to build anything you want. Though I'd skip the Hemi, save 15K and add the RIPP SC. Its basically the same gains in HP.

 

You are a father with kids. Save more money and buy your children a home. Your children will need a place to call their home. Sucks you had to leave the home you had, but that just gives you an opportunity to find something to start over with. I understand your parents may have said you don't need to buy or need to leave, but there is something to be said about a man and his home.
