Default 40's on Ultimate 60's

With the wider track of the UD60's what backspace do I need to run to have no rubbing at full lock? Going with 40x13.50 Nittos. Beadlock wheels 9" wide. Steering is all Synergy with a hydro as well. Flat fenders and adjustable arms.

Anything else I need to be aware of? Wondering how many have run a similar setup. Pic for what she looks like today.

How much lift? You want at least 4in of lift and minimum of 3.5in of backspace. You might barely touch your frame at full turn. Pic is when I first installed my UD 60s. 40x1350 toyo mt. 17x8.5 trail ready bl with 3.5 backspace. 4.5in of lift an had to trim a small amount of the front pinch seam an barely touched my frame at full turn

Also with synergy I had to trim a little off the tie rod adjuster end to make the tie rod fit. Can not use the flip drag link as its already a high steer arm and isn't needed

you should have better luck than I did not rubbing with that much lift. Still get 3.5 in backspace. You won't be disappointed. I honestly wish these axles were 70in wide instead of 69in

Do you recommend a different tire width? How are you liking the axles? Mine will be here next week.

if you want 40s, 13.50 is as skinny as it gets. I think your on the right track, just make sure you have 3.5in of backspace. Axles are great, one of my best choice mods I've made
