Default Ugly orange jeep

Just wanted to chime in and say that big ol orange piece is over rated.. Also think you should send your d44 up here to Illinois because blue jeeps need love too! On a serious note your gonna love those 60's, can't wait to see it when we come down in June and if I have my trailer I might bring ours down just to see how she pulls!

I would agree that 3" bs would be the way to go with the 40's. With that much lift you may need to tweet the suspension a bit and raise the track bar mounts on the axles. Are you doing a long arm?

Expect to have to do more trimming if you are staying on a short arm as the amount of axle shift you are going to see at that height is going to be quite a bit.

I ended up with ATX slabs in a 3.5 bs. Works great with a 38. Running 40s will require quite a bit of trimming to front pinch seams. I barely make contact with inner fender liners now.

Only wheeled them once so far but loved how stable they felt on off camber stuff.

You're going to find that the Synergy tie rod gets flexy when you're off-road and the ram pushes on it. Also a little bit of a challenge to stuff a ram in there. We just did a run of custom forgings on our 2.5 ton tie rod for the UD60 crowd. They were asking for more clearance, so we went to a 2" offset. If you're interested, we still have a set left and can get you a great deal on the strongest tie rod available!
