Here is my ram setup. A bracket was welded to the tie rod

Yes Sir. Running the UD60s and 18"s.

With 4.5" MetalCloak springs, I couldn't run 40s and still sneak into my garage. Have about 1/2" clearance with the 38s. They measure right at 37" tall.

I thought you weren't suppose to weld to a heat treated tie rod?

this I'm unsure of.. If anyone can clarify that would be great? I did not do the install myself and wasn't expecting it to be welded
