46" claws
Not sure I said anything about everyone having the same setup. In fact, I'm pretty sure you are the only one who brought it up. I'm just agreeing 100% with you - when you do something custom be prepared bustin' things, 'cause it's gonna happen. Unless, of course, you upgrade and/or reinforce every weak link. 46" tires are buggy territory, not stock (or even close to stock) JK fodder. Personally, my tastes run more toward capable, reliable trail riding. Sure, I crawl rocks. But when I'm out exploring the back country I'd rather be worrying about the weather than if my rig will hold up.
Hey sorry, I haven't been able to respond to my original post yet; just been very busy and about to run out the door again. I sold my 37's for 42's but i want to go with 46's. Second, I just wanted to know if 60's could handle 46's with 5.38's. Third I intend this to be a trail vehicle only and will tow it everywhere unless i'm just tooling around town. And fourth, thanks for those of you who like the tj pic an appreciate my style; as for the others I go back to my first point, i wanted to know if the 60s could handle it; i was not fishing for your opinion, i really don't care if you don't like my style. lol...
i'm going to try to work on it as quick as possible but don't hold your breath; this is a long term project; hoping to have all the suspension parts in by late this year; have all but the rear coilovers! suspension wise that is
