It did make a noticeable difference, especially when braking. It was worth the $100. Just make sure you have a sawzall and a replacement bolt for the passenger side upper CA. Easy to install if you have everything you need.

Not knocking AEV's stuff, but I feel awesome right now.
I just looked at the RC website and it said it was only for lifts 3.5" to 4" of lift, so it doesn't look like it would be for guys with a BB.

The new AEV brackets are now setup for 2.5" lifts. Should work with most BB's.

Right those are the ones i'm probably going with. But the others were mentioned so I thought I would check them out too. The RC's have no adjustments and are engineered for lifts 3.5 to 4".

What size is this bolt? It would help us out knowing what size before we started the install so we can have it on hand right away. Grade 5, 8?

M12x80- 10.9. I ended up cutting the bolt also. On the ones that have installed the brackets, how long was your 3/4" upper bushing? They are to replace the upper CA. UCA's are 2" wide and my spacer was only 1.5" wide so I cut me a new bushing at 1.75" as I was afraid that replacement would collapse the upper mounts. As for helping, Well worth it, it helped a lot.

If you look it says they work for 2.5 coils and shocks as well. My lower CA is perfectly flat and parallel to the frame rail and ground after install.

I had horrible death wobble after 3.5 rough country lift and 3/4 spacers up front. Installed AEV drop brackets problems solved! Have had them on for a month, need to run plenty positve castor on the jk. No more death wobble or esp problems on turns. Much improved ride. The best thing I have done to my Jeep!!
