IIRC, he fab'ed his own insert specifically so it would line up straight.

Also IIRC, the stock insert was designed to hold up to a 40" tire, so any tire smaller than that will be off-center.

Nice tire set up - I don;pt care for being odd center (especially given I have the tire scoop in rear mumber that will accentuate the uncentered location but the carrier sure seem well built.

Just a thought....this wouldn't work with a Sahara silver bumper, but what about getting a piece of black diamond plate bent and screwing it down to the stock bumper. An overlay of sorts... It wouldn't cover up the stock indentation. Obviously an adapter plate on the mount would work too, but I life the offset to one side from a visual standpoint.

I've seen people use the AEV carrier mast for a couple different things. I did an IR rearview cam and a couple of Rigid LED Dually's. That way I can watch a tailgater's face when I flip the switch a couple times and nail him with 5200 lumens. A couple of quick pops means "back off!".
