I ordered the AEV pintler beadlocks in Janruary. Still nothing. Sadly enough, they are still not as slow as DC as far as delivering orders. Today is 1 week short of 6 months waiting for my jeep!

Billy,
I too am waiting on the AEV's. I've got the pintler beadlocks on order and last update was they should be shipping this week. I know the office was out in Moab for the Easter Safari and hopefully will be back in tomorrow so we can get an update. I'll post here if I find out anything.
ps. which model/color are you putting yours on?

Please post pics as soon as somebody gets these wheels. I want to put them (argent) on my flame red unlimited and would love to see what they look like before ordering.

does that mean they are shipping? I have had a set on order for a few weeks too. I emailed them but no response yet.

Are those 35x12.5?

I bought a set of the AEV wheels for my wifes jeep. They pitted and oxidized in a matter of months. AEV would not warranty the wheels. This all happened between late spring and early fall of 2005. The wheels at that point had not seen snow.

They are still on the jeep, and look like hell.

I figured I would leave them on till the BFG's wore out and get a whole new set of non AEV wheels and a new set of BFG's. It looks like the wifey poo is getting a new set next month.

Good luck with your wheels and future dealings with AEV.

Mike

Still pissed!

On Edit: The AEV wheels on my wifes Jeep are the argent ones with the little yellow center cap.

Default curious...

Nota,
Those look awesome and I can't wait to get mine

Local,
Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience, I know in speaking with the guys they have been a pleasure to deal with. Are your wheels the same thing they are selling now? Or a previous model or style? If this is a new model, maybe thats the reason for the chang ein manufacturing or technology?
Maybe Wayof life can expand if he knows these guys.

I know that they have used different manufacturers in the past. The wheels on my wifes Jeep were made in Austrailia. And I agree, the guys at AEV were pleasant to deal with, until it came to backing their product.

I sent them pictures of the pitting, and they even admitted it was a known problem! I was given a song and dance about them switching wheel manufactures, and the manufacturer in OZ would not back AEV's WHEELS! So it was MY PROBLEM! But hey, they would gladly sell me a new set of wheels at full price! Which weren't even available at the time for my wifes lifted liberty! They were switching manufactures again, and did not have any wheels in stock, and had no intentions of replacing my pitted wheels with their name on them.

I would have gladly sent them back for replacement, but they would not play ball, and I was very busy at the time. I didn't have time to play games.

Like I said, good luck dealing with AEV. I know that as of 2 years ago they would not stand behind their own product, I don't see why they would today.

So I basically ate $1200.00 in wheels

The sad part is, I would buy their wheels again but for the way I was treated. I really think they have a good looking product. I hope yours lasts longer then a few months, good luck!
