Mine was $1200. Brought it home last night. Can't wait to start converting it.

Default M101A2 Build

I've been working on one for a little while. I just finished restoring and modifying the trailer. I extended the tongue so the rear gate of the JKU could be opened without interference, added a 2" receiver in the rear cross member for a bike rack and swaped the axle to match the 5x5 and mounted a set of jeep rims with the original Goodyear tires that came off off my Jeep. The tub was mounted to the trailer this past weekend (no pics yet) and it will be painted bright white with black accents to match my Jeep.

Tub off and now time to work on the frame. Looks in good shape. Tires and wheels ordered. Now do I find a lug adapter or replace axle? Leaning toward axle to reduce weight.

When you swapped the axle, did you also change springs or keep the original. How about the shocks?

What is the inside dimension between the wheel wells? I'm looking at getting one of these but I would like to be able to use it for construction type stuff and for camping with the family. Also, what kind of hitch are you using for the pintle (sp.) Is it a conversion or is it specific for the military hitch?
