Distance between my wheel wells is 45.5". As far as the pintle hitch, that is the type of hitch and it hooks onto the lunette ring on the trailer.

Can it be used with a regular tow package that has a receiver for the pintle? Sorry, for the questions. Just thought these were a good idea for what i'm looking for. Thanks.

Edit: Sorry, just looked up the adaptor on google. Understand it now.

The springs are the original that came on the trailer. I made new shock mounts and welded to the new axle. The shocks were replaced with a set of Monroe Sensa Tracs.

Making progress. Frame stripped down, sand blasted, primed and getting ready to attach new axle. Was able to knock off lower shock mounts from original axle so I can keep original set up. Bed of trailer also sandblasted and primed.

The best coupler for on/off road I have found is this one, rated up to 6,000 lbs! So, it's not your average motorcycle coupler! It swivels any which way but lose, so you don't have to worry if the vehicle and the trailer are not on the same plane.

The matching wheels look great! I plan do this on mine at some point.
