My only gripe with BDS is that their 5500 series shocks rust in the salt belt. I had them for about a year now and I painted them black and they look great now. Ride still fantastic. (2" BB)

I say if you get the bds don't use the cam bolts. Deal with the poor handling until you can afford adjustable control arms. First off I've heard people complain about the shops not doing a good job cutting out the place for the bolts, and when you go to adjustables they just become a huge pia. I love my bds lift though the ride is fantastic. And certainly better than stock. It's a full 3 inches

No, it is not a true 3". More like a 2-2.5"

If you think their warranty is "no BS" you might want to read about the BS they gave me when I tried for a warranty claim.

One last note: BDS sucks. Avoid them at all costs. You'll save money in the long run.
Yeah, I've read you're thread plus several other threads where you put in your 2 cents.
Every product always has that one person that has had a major melt down of an issue with the manufacturer. Including Tera Flex !!! Do I think that Tera Flex is crap based on the one or two rants. Absolutely not.
The fact of the matter is that most people are happy with BDS and their Warranty.
You've posted your woe's but now you're Trolling for anything that has BDS in the title. I'm beginning to think you're poor tact is/was a major factor in your issues with BDS. There is two sides to every story and we've only heard yours.

My BDS is a true 3" and has never had any issues. You're more than welcome to come by and bring your measuring tape.

I have the BDS 4" Long Arm kit on my 07 JK. I had to remove the rear sway bar because the disconnects were making contact with the shock mounts and squeaking constantly.
It seems to do OK without it... but if anyone else had this issue and fixed it, please let me know.
