Excellent on dry road.
When it's raining you have to be careful.

On offroad, it's very good on sand or rocks.
In mud, ... , hum , ... , forget...

In snow, I just have to wait this week for our first day of ski and test it !!!

Kind of defeats the whole go anywhere you want no matter what the weather is concept

That's the main reason I've owned so many jeeps

When I had my company nobody ever got away with saying the weather was too bad I'd come by and pick them up in the company grand Cherokee !

Overall a really good tire but its deffinently more of a ONROAD tire than offroad

I agree with this rating, but I think they do well in sand for what they are. Mine are 285/75R17, and I can't expect a tire that narrow to do REALLY well in sand.
This is my third vehicle with the terra's. I'm happy with them, but I might try the Trail Grapplers next time...

I will give the terra's some extra credit for the way they handle sharp rocks... They have really strong sidewalls (for an A/T..), and I have never had any tire damage on sharp rocks.

I'm a big fan of the Cooper Discoverer S/T. I've been running them on the JK for about 90k miles, I got 65K miles out of my first set and with 25k on my current set they still have plenty of tread left. They are a huge upgrade from the BFG KOs I had on previous vehicles, the Coopers are better in mud, rain and snow and last just as long. I also like the Cooper AT3's, I have them on my XJ and they are quieter on the road but are not quite as aggressive for off road.

Have you tried the Cooper STMaxx's yet? I've run four or five sets of STT's and am on my second set of STMaxx's. I haven't run the S/T's because we have a lot of mud around here and the Cooper dealers have been recommending the STT's and now the ST Maxx's over the S/T for our use. Is sure looks like the S/T will get better milage though. I have found the STT's and ST Maxx to be very quiet on the road but last me about 40K (though the truck I've had them on is psuhing 10,000 pounds.

GY Silent Armor for me (on my second set)... Apparently that's Chrysler's choice for the new Moab edition...

Haven't tried the ST Maxx's. I thought about them last time I bought tires but read a couple of reviews that said they were prone to hydro-planning, that was one of my big complaints about the BFG KO's so I decided to stick with the ST's.

I think with an unlimited a 35" would look better and still fit pretty easily. I just ordered toyo open country 295/75r16. They haven't even come yet and I'm wishing I got 315's...lol
With my 3:21's I'm prob better off with the 295s though.
Good luck with the tires

I'm doing great with my 3.21's and 285/70/17's

No lift yet, just spacers
