Best tires for snow + mud
The 315/70R17 will be the closest 17" size in the Duratrac. These are right around 34.4" tall. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...ngler+DuraTrac

Duratracs hands down! I got about 25k miles on mine and they are starting to wear. I expect 50k out of then easy.
Best damned tire I ever used in the snow. And I have had several jeeps with several tires over the years.

The duratracs are a great tire. Have had ours on for 2 years and 52k miles with no issues at all. I run the 315/70/17 at 28-30 psi which is 34", and do a 5 tire rotation. They do great in mud, snow, and good on the rocks. Will probably get another 10k before I have to replace.
Had problems getting them balanced on the Moto metal rims and wish they came in a bigger size, those are my only complaints

If you want to get the most out of this size tire I would recommend looking for a new wheel that is 17x9 with a -12mm(4.5"BS) offset or 17x8.5 with a -6mm offset (4.5"BS)

The 315/70r17 Duratrac is about 12.7" wide. These will be too wide for your stock wheels. Goodyear recommends a 8.5-10" wide wheel. (9" would be ideal). Not only are your stock wheels too narrow but they also have too high of an offset/backspace. This size would rub hard without a lower offset wheel.

Also, can I get the $50 JK-forum discount if I order tires via your website, or do I have to call to place my order?
Thanks,
Jerry
hey Travis, I'm looking on your site at the MB Gunner 5 wheels. It says they are '6MTB' I see some wheels are '0MTB' and '25MTB' etc. What does MTB mean and does this matter for which 17 inch wheel I pick for my 2010 Wrangler Rubicon?
