out of curiosity anybody know where to buy tire chains? do the tire stores sell them or would it be a Sears or some place like that? aside from online? thinking of running out....

Goodyear used to, it was called the Fierce Attitude, I bought mine at the local Goodyear store. Same tread pattern as the Duratrac, it comes in a 35, it has just a little wider spacing and they are priced pretty good. So far I love mine.

Charles Schwab has some very good chains, easy to install and remove. And they fit them for you.

I've been debating whether I should buy chains for my Jeep or not. Also, if I should get one or two pairs because of the 4x4. I have a set of BFG M/T for the Winter. Seattle itself has virtually no snow but the mountain passes can get ugly. Hints?
