Bikini Tops?
Me too. Should look awesome. I am just gonna put on the tonneau cover. Although I am wondering if what I am hearing about having to remove the soft top completely is true... Can anyone confirm this?
On the TJ one could fold the top down and the tonneau fit over it. EXCELLENT. If the soft top and all the attendant hardware has to be removed to use the tonneau on the JK... NOT EXCELLENT.

This would be awesome to me. Does it work??
I own the Mopar Sunbonnet and it has large flaps that Velcro around the roll/sports bar above the driver and passenger sides. These make up for the missing door frames. On top of that, the Mopar comes with the windshield channel hardware built into the top. Bestop requires that you purchase a separate piece of hardware. Putting all of that together, it meant that I saved several hundreds of dollars by purchasing the Mopar Sunbonnet.
As for keeping out rain: I expect (but can't say from experience) that with the Bestop version and the door frames and the doors installed that you'll keep reasonably dry (the back will still be open, however). In a two door, because the back is open, you'll probably get some water coming forward when tooling down the road at faster speeds.
As for rain while parked: I bought the Bestop trail cover. It works beautifully, except when you remove it you must be cautious about rain puddles on the cover. You won't get wet too many times before you figure out that you need to crawl into the vehicle and push up the top from inside before removing the cover if it's been in the rain. LOL.
Finally, the Mopar isn't what I'd call "difficult" to put on. It takes about 30 minutes of fussing with the included hardware/brackets, and various strips of Velcro and straps and buckles. I've read where numerous folks complain they can't get the Bestop version installed without lots of stretching, especially if it's not really warm out. I had no such problems with the Mopar Sunbonnet.

Ok to answer a couple of questions
flapping= yes it happens at 70 mph other than that it's minor, mostly flaps right above the soundbar.
attaching = if you dont have the door frames for a soft top I highly recommend them, not really sure if i like the velcro strap to the roll bar idea
install= warm weather is suggested to stretch that puppy...
I highly recommend the deck cover, It is very tight and looks sharp!! that sucker is for sure water proof.

Also, does anyone know if the deck cover sags in the middle towards the seats like it did in the TJ without the windjammer or did they at some support bar that goes width wise across the tub?

P.S.--I may put the bikini top on next week since Curtis is out of school for spring break. If so, I promise to get some pic's and post in this thread (unless someone else beats me to it). I can't believe I ran it several weeks last summer and never took any!
It does not require it, but it does require the windshield bar which can be purchased seperately. I use it on the 4-door, I think I might have a picture of it somewhere in my gallery. EDIT: nope, I know there is a picture or two in there, but you can't see it because of the angle. I should see if my picture folders have one later...

[QUOTE=Mark Doiron;385384]Does it require the softtop hardware in order to be installed, or would it be okay on my hardtop-only four door? Thanks!
I have a 2dr so.....
It connects to is the belt rail, wraps with velcro around the roll bar, and has two belt straps that connect to the front bar near the seats. In the rear it does require the use of the tailgate bar to keep it sealed. Not sure if this is required for those of you with a hardtop only. It sags only slightly in the middle with out the jammer connected, you can always snug the straps down more ( remember stretching happens ).
hope that helps!!!
