Key in the ignition small tool box in the back, jacket and some candy bars on the passenger seat. NOTHING I mean NOTHING was missing!! True story.
^that. Why can't the world be more like that today? Nowadays you would find that CJ a month later stripped to the frame on the side of some random backroad.

theives really do get under my skin. perhaps if they put half the effort it takes to steal towards a positive thing like, oh i dont know, A JOB!!! then they would excel themselves beyond their own means. ugghhhh. i remember the days when i live up north in pa and we would just leave the keys in the vehicle- never had an issue.

either way, i ended up getting the viper 350 2-way security system with proximity alarm. now all i need to do is stage my brighter then life tac-light, expandable batan, and my flexi-cuffs next to the front door. the next theif aint gonna be ready for the THUNDA!

Go online and get you a couple " support your local Hells Angels stickers and put them on where they are easy to see. Problem solved.

Jeesh. It must still be 1979 where I live. I dont have to worry about steeling at all. I do lock my house doors at night, but only because my wife is super paranoid about everything and it makes her feel secure.

My parents have not EVER locked a single door of theirs... I dont even think they have keys for them. Never once had an issue.

All depends on where you live. Where I love, you lock everything. I had adirondack chairs stolen from our back deck. And we live in the "finer" side of town. Not to mention, I gauge my carry (extra mag or not) as to where I will be for the day. Now, where I grew up, yeah, I pulled into my buddies house at 2 am, saw his wife's windows down, keys in the ignition and purse on the seat. And it was there in the morning. They come to visit us, I have to remind them nightly to lock it up, hide the valuables.... :(

Hence, why we are moving to Colorado.

This is my method now, I was broken into early on and they "snatched" the centerconsole open and stole my ipod. Nowadays I never lock the doors or the consoles only thing you could take is my INS card and my Floor plugs/door nuts (been there since firrst week i owned it) Oh I think there is some raman noodles and a bottle of water in the center console now lol if they are hungry it will be okay if they do take it.

Havent been broken into sense.. or at least that im aware of... of course this is only at my house at the "mall" or where ever yes i lock my doors.

Of course as with anything, there are the times that tops get cut, but that's usually when something tempting is in plain view. If my doors are on, I lock them. Top up or down, they get locked
I went to get some movie tickets for tomorrow and hit the unlock button. The horn went off, doesn't that mean someone tried to open my doors while I was away? I read this somewhere, but can't swear I didn't make this up
