Go for alloys. They'll look great and will stay that way.

Ahhh, the anti-chrome brainwashing!!!

If you want chrome wheels on your Jeep, get them! If you want to get a nice set of "wooden" wheels, put them on.

It's hillarious how Chrome on a Jeep offends many of the so called "Jeepers" on here. It bothers them so much I believe they are actually losing sleep over it.

If I could find a vat large enough, I would have my entire Jeep dipped, not because I think it would look good, at all. I would do it cause my family owns stock in sleeping pills!! (J/K)

BTW, I bought my CHROME wheels used & they were on a Jeep in the Colorado elements for 3 years now. They are still nice & shiney & aren't all that hard to keep clean. In fact, if you spray the mag chloride or salt off frequently I think they will stay nice for a very long time. I use spray on wax every time I wash mine. Hope this helps.

I've read about wooden half doors, and wooden wheels now that would be cool

I'm getting new wheels in early new year, and they will be chrome with black

If you want kind of chrome, and kind of black..., check out the ProComp "Knight Chromes".

Wow...apparently has a serious hard-on for chrome on vehicles. Been teased a bit over yours perhaps? If all the ladies keep coming over to look at your Jeep...perhaps you went a little overboard with the bling!

I recently got rid of an F-150 with stock chromed aluminum wheels. I'm in Toledo & we get decent snow (not Utah snow) & road salting. The brake dust had an unbelievable ability to stick to them and only came off with some seriously nasty cleaner & some serious elbow grease. The chrome then peeled on two of the wheels after only two years. Then after about three and a half years, the silicon in the tires caused the aluminum at the bead to pit and cause slow leaks in three of the four wheels (this happened on an accord I had as well). Not saying any of this would happen to all chromed aluminum wheels (or aluminum Honda wheels), it's just what happened to me. Anyway, I traded in the 2006 F-150 in September for an Unlimited. The steel/black Cragar Soft 8's are sitting in my basement waiting for tires (Come on Santa!) My advice is go real old school and get "D" hole steel wheels & paint them white!

Well, actually I've never been a big chrome fan. My Superduty came with a chrome grill & I bedlined it & think it looks way better. Took off the chrome door handles & went with black.

Was thinking about bedlining the chrome grille that came with the Jeep. Kinda like the way it is but think black would look killer on the Red Rock.

Oh, & tires are black, so I think alloy or chrome wheels look better than black wheels. I just like the contrast I guess. I think if tires were chrome colored, I'd deffinately go with black wheels. Heck, I'd even take the old fashioned white spokes over black any day. Just my opinion. If you happen to have black wheels & like them, then good for you!! I certainly won't dog you about the look of your Jeep. I like all Jeeps & am glad they are all a bit different.

It's all about personal preference. It's your money, feel free to buy whatever you want!!

Oh, and I like it when the Ladies flock to my Jeep, sorry to hear that you don't. To each his own.

Happy wheelin!!

Default chrome wheels

i just dont see the purpose of chrome wheels on a wrangler,,
its just my opinion,,,
i believe chrome is a pain to keep clean and keep up with,, i've owned 5 wranglers and have always had black wheels on them,, in my exp. , its much easier to maintain them
