You reuse the metal clips from the OEM dash panel and it snaps into place.

Since I updated the firmware to v9.807 I have not seen the problem reappear.

This is a dealer flash ??? under what situation did you need the firmware update?

Need it..?

I wouldn't say that I needed it. But it did fix some of the bugs.
No more missing volume and stuck on mute.
Better Satellite reception.
Faster updates on Sirius traffic.
Uconnect now downloads phone book from my phone.

Default Egrips

Got it - love it... adds extra space to put glasses and pens etc......
I also hardwired my GPS to mount on to the right side of it... so my shotgun rider can better navigate for me while I'm driving... but the forever double stick tape only ran for about 3 months...

Where can I get some of this E-grips tape? Sounds like it might hold my GPS unit better in place...

Thanks

They have it in 4.75" x 9.5" black sheets for $19.95, so I will get that and cut.

I would post the website but it isn't a sponsored link.

Just Google "egrips". It's the first result.
I wish people would read more throughly. You can post a link, it just can't be clickable!!! Put a broken link up (ie with a space in the w's or don't include the w's) and your fine. Attention to detail. Stay alert stay alive.

I used tool box liner to keep my stuff from sliding.

It also works good for the tray behind the gear shift to keep stuff from sliding. Some guy was selling it precut on ebay. You can make your own for $6. Comes in black and gray.
