If that is the actual case....then the rake should be GONE - especially if they did not install the factory isolator in the rear! -

I called the guy and told him I was not exactly satisfied because my Jeep is NOT level and he said to bring it in - with the isolators that they left off (rear) and he would lower the rear - should I be satisfied with that?

Before I do anything I am going to measure the spacer (if possible to do while installed)
Something is amiss .... All brands of spacers indicate the isolator should be left installed ... be it below or above it the spacer ...

X2 on that. All spacer lifts should retain the factory isolators. I can't imagine your springs pressing on the spacers which is a much harder compound than the rubber factory isolators.

Ok, this is all I am going to say until I get home and measure the spacers. Can someone please tell me what the approximate rake would be on a 2008 JK with nothing but 33" tires added. I would think that 1 inch difference in spacers would certainly correct the rake...Please advise..

I installed a 2" spacer front and no spacer in the rear to get my 2009 level.

First, are you talking about forward rake or rear end sag? If you have a 2.5" spacer in the front, and 1.5" in the rear, you should be about level. With some extra weight over the rear, you will get more of a sag or a reverse rake. The JK's have some forward rake built so it should level out under load. So you may want to go with both 2.5" spacers front and rear to give it a more even look under load... It is good to have a little forward rake, since when you add passengers, fuel and cargo the rear end will sag.

Well after climbing under my Jeep and measuring the spacers front and rear, I am understanding now why it is not level. I was supposed to get 2.5 " spacer in front and 1.5" in rear. They actually measure 1.75 front and back, and they left they left the factory isolators off of the rear springs - I guess to take some of the rake off - but it is still and inch off front to rear.

I am not really happy at this point, going to stop by there this afternoon. I need to get what thought I was paying for - right???

as long as you have it in writing on the work order that it was a 2.5" spacer for the front. if you dont, you have no recourse.

I have the paid invoice that clearly states 2.5 spacer front and 1.5 spacer rear - and on top of it all, they charged me $40 for tire rotation - weren't the tires off anyway?? Thanks for all of the advice I have gotten from this thread!!
